We have designed this new intranet site to be user friendly, engaging, and informative with an overall goal of providing you with a tool that supports you in your job.

Below are answers to several frequently asked questions about the new site.

Where do I find what I need and how do I find it quickly?

• Links to everything you need from policies and procedures to HR documents to external links for timekeeping are accessible on the left side of your screen.
• If you need to find something quickly, type a few key words into the search bar.

What’s new about this site?

• The search feature – type a few key words into the search bar to quickly find a document.
• The employee directory – all employees are listed in the employee director and it is updated in real time when someone new joins or leaves CFHC.
• The calendar – a live calendar with all company events, updated  in real time as meetings are added or canceled.
• Quick Links – All commonly used external links are compiled in one place. Access employee email, the time clock, Epic, Employee Navigator and other links from the homepage.
• Community Resources – a list of community resources with phone numbers, websites and/or pdfs that can be used for yourself or to share with your patients.
• The news carousel on the home page – at the top of the home page is a banner where CFHC announcements and news will be updated on a regular basis. Keep an eye on this section so you don’t miss out on important information.

Can I access the site from home or my phone?

•  No, like all other CFHC systems, the intranet site is only accessible on the company network.

I can’t find the procedure that I need. I need to have a new document uploaded to the intranet. I have questions about navigating the site.

Why is it named The Community Center?

• Have you ever visited your local community center? Did you go there for a workout class, to swim in the pool, or attend a meeting? You probably walked away feeling refreshed, informed and ready to take charge of your day. If you look up the term “community center” in a dictionary, the definition is “a place where people from a particular community can meet for social, educational, or recreational activities.”
• The Community Center is your one stop shop (or website) for all things CFHC related. You can find educational and informational resources link policies and procedures and trainings. You can also find recreational activities with our company-wide wellness challenges and social information such as your coworkers contact information and birthdays, new employee announcements, and community resources that you can use for yourself or share with your patients.
